Air Travel Is Sky High! (at least in volume)

The U.S. airline industry ended 2023 on a positive note for passengers: logging the lowest flight cancellation rate in at least 10 years.

In 2023, the busiest year on record, there were 16.3 million flights and a cancellation rate below 1.2 percent, the lowest rate in a decade.

As I look for air travel for my groups I’m seeing consistent prices increases!  But there are ways to cut down on the price of air through using a package provider such as Delta Vacations.  By bundling hotels and air you can typically get a better overall value. 

Cruise lines also commit to seats over a year in advance and can offer them at value rates for their passengers.  Norwegian Cruise Lines, for example, offers buy one get one free airfare on several of their sailings.

Your friend Pat is looking to take a Med cruise but worries about the high cost of flying.  Ask her if she would like to fly free!
